Project: Review of Facilities Management

Commercial Imperative:
BPP requested advice to improve value for money from FM activity, reduce costs and support initiatives to improve customer experience across the UK portfolio.
CPA Role:
CPA worked with the procurement and FM teams across three business streams along with the Finance Director to review: current expenditure; management structures; easy wins; sourcing; control of supply chain; and business risk. The review then analysed options and set out proposals to move the FM operations forwards.
The Result:
Savings in excess of 25% of current spend were identified and a plan of action recommended to achieve: structured procurement; protection of asset values through life cycle planned maintenance; reduced business continuity risk; and environmental improvements in support of CSR policies.
