Commercial Imperative:

The new Real Estate Director was tasked with reducing operational sites by over 30% to cut the property cost base and support business integration under the "One Honeywell" Group Initiative. To achieve rapid results and handle increased property activity, a closer and more structured relationship was needed with a property services firm across EMEA

CPA Role:

Based on knowledge of global best practice, CPA advised Honeywell on the appropriate structure to adopt and thereafter led the selection process and appointment of a preferred supplier. Services included: database maintenance, rent reviews, lease renewals, agency, financial forecasting, valuations, estate management, building works etc.

The Result:

Following a competitive tendering exercise, Jones Lang LaSalle was selected as preferred supplier with arrangements divided into "core" and "variable" services but also with particular emphasis on the initial handover period from former suppliers and the introduction of a performance management regime linked to Honeywell's commercial objectives.
